Welcome to the Early Learning Center

Dear ESD Early Learning Center Families,

We are delighted to welcome you and your child to the ESD Early Learning Center community. Whether your family is joining us for the first time or returning for another wonderful year, we are grateful to partner with you in your child’s early learning journey.

At the ELC, our focus is on creating a safe, nurturing environment where young learners can explore, grow, and thrive. Each day is designed to spark curiosity, build foundational skills, and help children develop the social–emotional confidence they need for future success.

We are honored to support your child’s development and excited for all the discovery, creativity, and joyful learning ahead.

Our program offers two daily learning sessions:
AM Session: 8:15 AM – 11:15 AM (Breakfast provided)
PM Session: 12:15 PM – 3:15 PM (Lunch provided)

Families will receive regular communication via ParentSquare from their child’s teacher with classroom updates, important reminders, and ways to support learning at home. Teachers also schedule family conferences during the year to learn more about your child, celebrate growth, and strengthen the home–school connection.

Replacement Educational Programs and Operations Levy

On February 10, 2026, the Ellensburg School District will hold an Educational Programs and Operations (EP&O) Levy election. This levy is not a new tax, but a replacement of the levy expiring in December 2026. The levy renews the expiring tax that provides local funding for critical needs, staff, and enrichment not covered by state and federal funding.
